Our West Coast leader will help shape Meebo's innovative ad product offerings, sales culture, and overall media strategy for our fast-growing entrepreneurial organization. Whether designing the organizational footprint, hiring a team of interactive-media specialists, executing the company's sales growth strategy, building and managing a revenue pipeline, or interacting with customers, this individual will play a critical role in positioning Meebo as a top-tier media company in the live communication space. This role will involve frequent interaction with customers across a diverse client and agency landscape and a consistent presence and voice at industry events. We are looking for an experienced sales leader who is team-oriented, results-driven, and will bring out the best in the incredible team we have here at Meebo. Wii Tennis skills are a plus... :)

What you'll do: there is no "typical day" but you will:

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key agencies and clients in the entertainment, consumer electronics, telecom, CPG, auto, and other relevant categories

• Hire, lead, and coach Meebo's West Coast direct sales team to high performance

• Ensure our ad programs, targeting, pricing, and reporting are customer-centric

• Help establish processes, communications, and procedures to help scale Meebo as our business grows

• Increase awareness about Meebo within the advertising, media, and marketing communities by evangelizing the efficacy of our platform and product capabilities

• Create persuasive sales presentations using market trends, case studies, and other analytics

• Help build and develop a customer-oriented sales organization that embodies candor and integrity What you'll need:

• Client-focused approach, with excellent judgment about ad development and pricing

• Extensive network within the agency, brand, and sales communities

• Understanding of technical requirements and opportunities within web media

• Enthusiasm about pop culture and digital media used by our users and clients

• Flexibility, patience, and a roll up your sleeves work ethic

• Bachelor's degree (graduate degree a plus)

• 8+ years demonstrated success in consumer media sales leadership at top-tier firms How you'll succeed:

• Forge partnerships with a multitude of major brands quickly and effectively

• Meebo exceeds revenue goals

• Contribute to innovation in the online marketing space—be a thought leader

• Strong follow-on business—increase in spending per client over time
