The Details:

• Contribute with strong personal effort and commitment to sales group initiatives.

• Main responsibility is to drive online advertising sales, meet and exceed all sales goals.

• Assist in identifying and executing-revenue enhancing strategic partnerships.

• Manage, renew and up-sell existing clients.

• Excellent prospecting and cold calling skills necessary. An aggressive attitude to getting to the decision maker is essential.

• Communicate with potential clients with various methods including, phone, email and face to face meetings.

• Prepare proposals and respond to RFP’s with a high degree of quality and in a timely manner.

• Prepare Insertion Orders and negotiate contracts with company’s interests in mind.

• Participate in company sales events such as trade shows.

• Work with Account Management (including traffic coordinator) to ensure that client’s needs are being met to the best of our ability.

• Main company representative for reaching out to Advertising Agencies and client direct contacts within the assigned territory to ensure that they are aware of WhitePages.com Network and our offerings.

• Update customer database, prepare call logs and rolling revenue reports as requested.

• Stay current of online advertising trends and any major initiatives.

• Assist in recruiting as needed.

• Will act as a mentor to newer Account Executives as needed.

• Some travel required – 25%.

• Other projects as assigned. Skills Needed:

• Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

• 3+ years sales experience in related field, preferably online sales.

• Proven ability to work autonomously.

• Proven ability to self motivate and self direct activities.

• Proven ability to develop and maintain solid working relationships with corporate staff from a remote office.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Must be a team player and be able to work in a fast pace, exciting environment

• Excellent prospecting skills

• High energy and a love of interactive advertising sales

• Established contacts with national accounts/agencies in LA strongly desired

• Proven ability to work autonomously

• Proven ability to self motivate and self direct activities

• Proven ability to develop and maintain solid working relationships with corporate staff from a remote office.
